SELF DRILLING AND TAPPTING SCREWS
Our product range includes Self drilling- self tapping screws.
Our standard size is 8mm Hexagonal Head, 19 & 25 mm long suitable for fixing Metal Roofing Sheets, Fibber Glass Roofing Sheets & Poly Carbonate Roofing Sheets on pre
engineered steel structures.. The screws are supplied along with Copolymer (Ethylene, Propylene, Diene) Washers.
Self-drilling & tapping is the ability of a screw to advance when turned directly in the material, while creating its own bore as well as thread. The edges cut a thread
as the screw is driven into the material. The cutting edge drills away the material, leaving a hole for the screw to go into and the tap part of the screw smoothly moves into the
structure. |
